Bellamy Middle School participated in "Souper Bowl for Caring" to raise money for Lorraine Soup Kitchen in Chicopee. The grades battled it out in a Penny War challenge. Sixth grade won! Mrs. Colbert was taped to the wall as students purchased pieces of tape to add more donations to the cause. In the end the winning grade was able to throw pies in Mr. Francis face (as shown above) along with other faculty members. Way to go Bellamy! GO BULLDOGS!

Nick Amo and Hailey Chapdelaine
were two eighth grade student ambassadors that represented Bellamy at Project 351 in Boston. The eighth-graders, chosen by local educators to represent the state’s 351 cities and towns, took part in a Youth Town Meeting with Gov. Deval Patrick at the Statehouse this month.
