International Club

Purpose:

The International Club introduces students to new cultures.  We will explore and participate in learning new languages, customs and traditions.  Food, music and art representing the featured culture will be a part of each meeting.  Membership will include listening to guest speakers who will talk about their experiences and backgrounds involving their culture.  Understanding and acceptance of new cultures is one goal of the International Club.  We will be fundraising in order to hold more significant cultural events.

Meeting times:

Every other Tuesday after school at 2:15 for approximately (1) one hour in the library.

Open enrollment - However, consistent attendance is appreciated as we will be planning for events and fundraising.  This club activity may count toward NHS community involvement, but only if the member is a regular participant. Please make an effort to attend every meeting.
