As Schools Match Wits

Advisor: Mr. Zdroykowski

 

Purpose:

 

Area high school students sharpen their wits again as WGBY and Westfield State University team-up to present As Schools Match Wits, Saturdays at 7pm on WGBY.

 

Produced at the studios of Westfield State University and broadcast on WGBY, As Schools Match Wits delivers all of the fun of the classic high school quiz-show and introduces a new generation of high-school students to one of the few public competitions that stresses knowledge over physical ability.

 

Students not selected by the advisors are still invited to attend the taping of the show in preparation for future participation.

 

Meeting Times: Varied. We meet several times before the first taping, then TBD if we proceed to the playoffs.

 

Dues/Fees: None

 

Season: The entire school year. Varies (depends on the ASMW schedule issued by WGBY Channel 57). Students must regularly attend meetings to qualify to be on any of the teams.
